This includes communicating with and hearing from you, your loved ones, and, as applicable, your hospital care-giving team. The Elms Center takes pride in being a reputable skilled nursing facility specializing in post-hospital, short-term rehabilitation besides providing long-term and respite care options. Patients can benefit from the convenience of our acceptance of Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurances. Our committed staff works diligently to address the medical and rehabilitation requirements of those recuperating from various health setbacks. Meet the Team

Crystal Manchin

Administrator
Crystal Manchin has been a licensed nursing home administrator at The Elms since 2023. Crystal graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Services Management in 2013 from Virginia College and has been in healthcare for over 20 years. She started her career taking care of a handicapped uncle at the age of 12 which led to her passion of taking care of people. She worked as a LNA for 17 years, worked as private sitter for 7 years, worked in durable medical equipment for 5 years, and worked as a Social Worker for 3 years before moving into a leadership position to advocate for the elder population.
Dr. Ayobami Ojutalayo

Medical Director
Dr. Ayobami Ojutalayo is a Board-Certified Physician in Family Medicine. Dr. Ojutalayo graduated with an honors degree in biology from the Montclair State University in New Jersey after which he proceeded to acquire a Doctorate degree from the Ross University School of Medicine in 2007. He completed his Family Medicine Residency at the prestigious Dartmouth Medical Residency Program in New Hampshire. During his residency training experience, he developed a passion for teaching other residents and was awarded the best resident teacher in his program. Dr. Ojutalayo has been the Medical Director at The Elms for 4 years.
Emma Stevenson

Recreations Director
Emmarald ‘Emma’ Bailey-Stevenson started in this field in the housekeeping department in late 2020, and quickly discovered her love for the senior community. Within a year, she made the switch to the activities department, where she worked as an activities assistant for two years before moving to The Elms Center to become our Recreation Director in late 2023.
Kelby Anderson

Human Resources Director
Meet our Human Resource Director Kelby. Kelby originally started with Genesis in 2011 as a Licensed Nurse Assistant where she continued to improve her career by becoming a unit clerk then the scheduler and payroll manager. Kelby has worked in a variety of centers where she continued to grow in becoming a HR Manager. Kelby started with The Elms in October 2024.
Emily Morehouse

Director of Social Services and Admissions
Emily has been working in long-term care for over 10 years. The majority of her time has been spent as a Social Service Director, but she started off as an LNA. She strives to help make a positive impact on the residents and their families in her professional role here at the center. Her goal is to provide a smooth transition from the time a new admission comes through the door to the time they are being discharged back home with services or staying for long term care. Outside of work Emily enjoys spending time with her family and being outside.
Jen Wells

DON
Jen began her career at Keene Center in 2011 as a licensed nurse aid. Jen received her Registered Nurse degree in 2014 and her bachelor's degree in 2017. Jen started out at Catholic Medical Center before moving back to Genesis in 2018. Jen functioned in many different roles including charge nurse, night supervisor, unit manager, and Interim Director of nursing at Pheasant Wood Center. Jen took on the role of Director of Nursing at the Elms in January of 2024. Jen’s primary focus is always quality of care and positive outcomes for the residents and families that trust us with their care.
